Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")
At Aral.ai, you own your personal data and uploaded study materials. In accordance with GDPR, CCPA, Meta/Facebook Platform Rules, and Google User Data Policies, you have the right to request the complete, permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

Alternative Ways to Delete Your Data
1. Self-Service In-App
Log in to Aral.ai, navigate to Settings → Account, and click "Delete Account & Data" to instantly delete your account.
2. Direct Email Support
Send an email to support@aralai.app with the subject Data Deletion Request.
Revoking Social Login Access (Google / Facebook)
If you signed up using Google OAuth or Facebook Login, you can also revoke Aral.ai's permission directly from your provider dashboard:
- Google Connections: Visit myaccount.google.com/connections to remove Aral.ai.
- Facebook Apps: Visit Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites to remove Aral.ai access.
What happens when data is deleted: All uploaded documents, extracted summaries, flashcard review history, quiz scores, and user credentials will be permanently erased from our databases and storage buckets within 48 hours. This action cannot be undone.
