Terms of Service

Aral.ai™ offers short-term study sprint passes (such as the 7-Day Crammer Pass) and recurring subscription plans (such as Monthly Pro and Semester Pass). If you hold an active pass and choose to switch or upgrade to another plan, you will be charged the full stated price of the new plan upon checkout. Your new plan tier, daily limits, and duration take effect immediately. Previous pass fees or remaining days on active passes are non-prorated and cannot be credited or refunded toward the new plan.

You retain full ownership of the documents, notes, recordings, and other materials you upload. Aral.ai™ does not claim ownership of your study materials. You grant Aral.ai™ a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and analyze that content solely to extract text and generate study materials for you.

You must only upload material you have the right to use. This includes your own handwritten or typed notes, lecture recordings you personally made, or course materials you legally obtained. Do not upload copyrighted textbooks, published works, or third-party content without the rights holder's authorisation. By uploading any file, you represent and warrant that you hold the necessary rights or permissions.

The Aral.ai™ platform, website, proprietary code, algorithms, visual design, logos, and service features are the exclusive intellectual property of Aral.ai™ and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and international intellectual property laws.

The platform utilizes third-party software, open-source libraries, software development kits (SDKs), typography assets, and cloud APIs. All third-party software, SDKs, product names, logos, and trademarks remain the exclusive property of their respective owners. Any reference to or inclusion of third-party services, SDKs, or open-source packages does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement. Third-party open-source components are utilized under their applicable licenses (including MIT, Apache 2.0, ISC, and SIL Open Font License), and all rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms remain fully reserved by their respective copyright holders.

Notes, flashcards, quizzes, summaries, tutor chat replies, and audio generated by Aral.ai™ are produced by large language models and text-to-speech systems. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Do not treat it as authoritative academic, medical, legal, pharmaceutical, engineering, or financial advice. Always verify critical facts, formulas, dosages, and statutory citations against official course materials and authoritative sources.

AI-generated audio and study materials are produced for your personal study use only. You may not redistribute, publicly broadcast, sell, or share AI-generated content derived from third-party materials without the underlying rights holder's permission. Aral.ai™ is not responsible for any copyright infringement arising from your unauthorised use of uploaded materials or AI-generated outputs.

To deliver its features, Aral.ai™ sends relevant portions of your uploaded content and generated text to third-party service providers. By using Aral.ai™ you consent to this processing. Current providers include:

• AI providers — AI analysis, note synthesis, flashcard and quiz generation, and tutor chat.

Reading notes aloud runs on our own servers. For now, Aral.ai™ uses an AI provider's free plan, whose terms let the provider use submitted content to improve its services; see How AI processes your materials for details. These providers are bound by their own privacy and data-processing terms. We do not sell your content to third parties. Provider integrations may change over time — see the Service changes section below.

Each plan tier carries daily and monthly generation limits for notes, flashcards, quizzes, audio, and AI chat. Aral.ai™ may apply rate limits to any feature at any time to maintain service quality and manage infrastructure costs. Accounts that exceed reasonable use patterns, attempt to circumvent limits programmatically, scrape or automate outputs at scale, or engage in abusive behaviour will be immediately rate-limited, suspended, or permanently terminated without refund or compensation.

If you believe that content stored or processed on Aral.ai™ infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to support@aralai.app with the subject line Copyright Takedown Request. Your notice must include:

• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• Sufficient information to locate the allegedly infringing content on our service.
• Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act on their behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

When you delete a document or session from Aral.ai™, the associated file, extracted text, and generated study materials (notes, flashcards, quizzes) are deleted from our database and file storage, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes.

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Manila, Philippines for any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Aral.ai™.
