Get the app

Aral on your PC
and your phone.

Study your notes, flashcards and quizzes in an app that remembers where you left off and keeps your study sets on your device for when the signal drops.

Windows

Laptops and desktops

Download

Version 1.3.1 · 87 MB · Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit

How to install
  1. Download the installer and open it.
  2. Choose the folder you want Aral in, on any drive, and press Install.
  3. Sign in or create your free account. Aral keeps itself up to date.

Windows may say "Windows protected your PC" the first time, because Aral is new and not yet signed with a paid certificate. Choose More info, then Run anyway.

Android

Phones and tablets

Download

Version 1.1.0 · 5 MB · Android 5.1 or newer

How to install
  1. Download the file. Your phone may ask to allow installs from your browser or Files app; allow it.
  2. Open the file and press Install. If Play Protect asks, choose Install anyway.
  3. Open Aral and sign in with Google or your email.

Aral is not on the Play Store yet, so Android shows a warning for apps installed from a file. It is safe to continue.

iPhone and iPad

iOS and iPadOS

Coming soon

The iPhone and iPad app is coming soon. Until then, open Aral in Safari and add it to your Home Screen.

Why get the app

Pick up where you left off

Aral opens straight to your study sets, signed in and ready.

Study without signal

On Wi-Fi, Aral saves your study sets on your device, so they open on the bus or in a brownout.

One account everywhere

Your notes, cards and progress are the same on your phone, your PC and the website.

Good to know

Is the app free?

Yes. The app is free to download and use with your Aral account. You can also keep using Aral in your browser.

Why does my phone or PC show a warning?

Aral is new and the apps are not yet in the Play Store or signed with a paid certificate, so Windows and Android warn about any app installed from a file. Download only from this page, and the steps on each card show how to continue.

What about my Mac or iPhone?

Those apps are coming soon. For now, open aralai.app in Safari or Chrome. On an iPhone you can add it to your Home Screen.
